Hairstylist and Hair Colorist

After many years working as a hairstylist, Linda E. Black still finds it more fun than ever. Over the years Linda has learned many techniques and attended many hair shows to keep current with all the newest hairstyles.

In March of 2002 Linda Black became an American Board Certified Hair Colorist, which allows her to enhance the hairstyling experience of her customers. Cutting, styling, and coloring a client's hair all at the same session is a powerful way to make someone feel good about himself or herself.

Hair Extensions and Restorations

In 2004 Linda Black began researching hair extensions. After much deliberation and training, she found "Great Lengths" to have the best quality of replacement hair. Great Lengths is long lasting and cannot be distinguished from your own hair.

After many classroom hours Linda is certified to perform these extension replacements. She is now into her 5th year of experience and is very proud of her many repeat clients.

Makeup Artist

Finally after many years of "playing make up," Linda E. Black decided to become proficient in the newest make-up styles. In 2004, she began her first make-up classes in New York City. Since then she has taken classes in Chicago, LA, and Miami.

Linda has made guest appearances on two national television makeover shows and has appeared on "Good Morning Memphis", Channel 13, Foxy Makeovers many times.

She has done make-up for Emmy Award winning Ruby Dee, R & B singer Lela Hathaway, "Guiding Light" actress Caitlin Van Zandt and several makeovers for the Commercial Appeal. Linda's most recent success was a full-color article for the "Southern Bride Midsouth" magazine Fall '08 issue.

Please call Linda Black for an appointment for your weddings, makeovers, extensions or just a color and style.
